Hello! ¡Hola! Magdalena joined Thames Valley Midwives in 2025.

She is originally from Uruguay, South America, and is fluent in English and Spanish.
For as long as she can remember, she have been fascinated by pregnancy and birth. Her desire to work in healthcare led her to an undergrad degree in medicine.
It was after the birth of her first child that she decided she would become a midwife. That desire became stronger after experiencing the amazing care provided by Ontario midwives through the pregnancies and births of her 3 younger kids, all born at home with midwives. She is a graduate of the Midwifery Education Program from Toronto Metropolitan University and completed her placements all over the GTA and Hamilton area. She moved to London with her family in 2023 and has been working in this community since then.
She truly loves midwifery, and is passionate about health equity and providing access to marginalized communities.
In her spare time she enjoys going on hikes and bicycle rides with her kids, knitting, reading, and baking.
She is excited to meet you, and looks forward to providing care for you and your family during this important time in your lives.
